Description

Explosion protection zones

Gases Zone 1 is a place in which an explosive atmosphere consisting of a mixture with air of flammable substances in the form of gas, vapour or mist is likely to occur in normal operation occasionally. Zone 2  is a place in which an explosive atmosphere consisting of a mixture with air of flammable substances in the form of gas, vapour or mist is not likely to occur in normal operation but, if it does occur, will persist for a short period only.
Dust Zone 21 is a place in which an explosive atmosphere in the form of a cloud of combustible dust in air may occasionally occur during normal operation. Zone 22 is a place in which an explosive atmosphere in the form of a cloud of combustible dust in air is not likely to occur in normal operation but, if it does occur, will persist for a short period only.

Door leaf

The door leaf consists of double-walled, insulated steel slats, which are joined to a shell via a turnable conncetion system.

Execution as stainless steel roller door is possible.

The slats are individually produced, according to requirements of door and installation situation.

If additional soundproofing requirements are needed, the roller door will be executed with a soundproofed filling. To achieve high soundproofing values, the door leaf is additionally covered with an acoustic hood.

Guide rails

The guide rails consist of zinc-coated sheet steel in a screwed construction.

Drive

Plug-on drive with built-in retainer or sprocket drive with separate retainer. In case of a power failure the door can be operated via an emergency crank. Opening and closing speed: approx. 0.2 m/s. Maintenance-free drive unit.
