Jansen Tore nominated for the German Sustainability Award Design 2022

In 2022, the DNP is offering the award for sustainable design for the third time. Design is becoming increasingly important. All the major ecological and social challenges of our time are reflected here.

The German Sustainability Award Foundation nominates Jansen Tore for this year's German Sustainability Award in the Design category. A great success for the medium-sized company based in Emsland. From over 1000 applications in the overall competition, Jansen is one of the final 75 candidates in the category.

With the ORPHEUS blue, a newly developed fire protection sliding door system for the German and European market, Jansen Tore is nominated for the coveted German Sustainability Award. The national award for excellence in sustainability in business, communities and research is the largest of its kind in Europe.

In the field of structural fire protection, Jansen Tore is one of Germany's leading suppliers of fire doors, innovative special solutions and custom-made products. Sustainability is a high priority at Jansen. This is also reflected in the development and design of the gates.

In the ORPHEUS blue sliding gate, Jansen Tore dispenses with mineral wool in favor of sustainable materials. The use of water as an insulating material makes the sliding fire door environmentally friendly in production and fully recyclable. This liquid cooling principle represents a sustainable, resource-saving construction method, is at the same time economical and forms an innovation in the fire protection door segment.

The jury will select the finalists in September, who will be invited to the awards ceremony on December 1 in Düsseldorf.
